For an effective running of processes in biological treatment of WWTP the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the activated sludge system needs to be sufficient. Due to this reason various fine bubble aeration systems are installed in the activated sludge tanks and they can ensure the mixing of activated sludge mixture as well.
Aeration
The Ferrmont Company produces and supplies its own aeration system with aeration elements under the commercial name “ČOVOX 1000”. It is a tubular aeration system made from HDPE. The length of pipes itself is 1m and they are perforated and coated with special fabric and made as layering woven and nonwoven layers. The fabric secures the creation of fine bubbles that allow obtaining high use of oxygen. The individual elements are connected into grid systems where every grid has its own regulated air inlet.
This type of aeration system is successfully applied at the WWTP Galanta, WWTP Poprad, WWTP Zvolen, WWTP Pieštany and other plants. Obviously if the desire and demand of client is different, Ferrmont can also deliver different aeration systems e.g. ITT (Sanitaire), Rehau (Raubioxon), Fortex (Fortex),Nopon (Nopol), Aerzen (Messner plates).
